We take the long way

A small studio of planners in London, Marrakech, Kyoto and Denver. We build tours we would book ourselves.

How it started

Meander began with a spreadsheet of routes that Clara kept for friends: which trains to skip, which riad had the best roof, which temple to visit at seven in the morning.

The spreadsheet became an app, and the friends became a few thousand travellers a year. The rule stayed the same. If none of us has walked it, we do not sell it.

How we choose a tour

  • Walk it first

No route goes on sale until a planner has done it end to end, slept in the hotels and timed the transfers.

  • Keep it small

Twelve people at most. Small enough for a family-run restaurant, big enough to make friends.

  • Leave room

Every tour has free days. Your planner books whatever you decide on the morning, or nothing at all.
